John was a very special Uncle. He always spoke to me like a friend and he would listen with enthusiasm like it was the first words he'd ever heard. You knew you could talk to him about anything and he wouldn't judge or condemn. You knew he'd enjoy a good laugh... just like a friend. It still hasn't really sunk in...
