One of my earliest memories is of dad singing to me at bedtime.He alwasys sang 'morning has broken' it was my favourite song.He sang it in the most soothing voice.I still love that song,dad mentioned singing it to me in his wedding speech at my wedding so it definately meant something to him too.He passed away the 3rd of feb 2009 at 4.15am.The snow had layed,the sun was coming up and as I sat there with him moments after the birds were singing away and I felt it was him singing to me one last time.'morning has broken like the first morning,blackbird has spoken like the first bird' xxx
